This is a new collaboration between the cities of Derby, Leicester and Nottingham and centres on the range of festivals already established in each city. The aim is to achieve better co-ordination of these events with common thematic programming and new commissions from local, regional and national artists shared across festivals in each city. New festivals are also being planned, focusing on themes such as Indian film; Jazz, Blues & Roots music; the urban arts of young people; and literature.
